Revenge and Family

It's been a while since we've seen each other, guys... Not since that day... I can honestly say that when it first hit I was numb to it all, that adrenaline rush from the fight with the Genny, and then that betrayal. When Sarge was taking me to his place it finally hit me. Last thing I remember was walking through the forest to get to his place, and then I crashed. I blacked out, then I woke up in his place and I was just stunned about everything. It wasn't until he began to literally knock sense into me that I snapped out of it. I thought that there was nothing left for me to live for... That I should just end it all..... Sarge then showed me that there were two things that I had to live for. Revenge, I need to become stronger than I already am so that way I  can bring those horsemen to their knees, to repay them for the pain they caused everyone. The second was to no longer focus on what it was that I lost, but to focus on what I had left.... Then it hit me.... Or maybe it was his fist he hit me a lot that day..... The second thing I have to live for is my other family, you guys... I still have something to do in this life. I'll be training my ass off for you guys, so I can protect you all. I don't know how often I'll be able to contact you all, but know that I'm still here, training and getting stronger.

Sounds like your mentor's a tough love kind of guy, Dom.

Too right, tough love is an understatement. He's talking about exercising sending me out into the wild and doing survival training.

Heh, maybe your mentor and Isaac's should collaborate. You guys could start a survival show together.

Let's keep that between us, or else I'll be swinging an anchor too.
